Updated the protocultura site again. First the blog comment system
should now be fixed. The blog has multi-language support, so you can
see only articles of one language. That's one of those things I could
never find for nucleus. The Atom and RSS feeds infrastructure got
expanded, apart from the main feed, there are feeds for languages and
category types.
On the backend: Added (and later, fixed) a bookmarklet feature so that I'll probably
publish more frequently now (in linkdump style). Also the textarea form
fields are using a inline-editor provided by the openwysisyg proyect. Multi-tag for blog pages is now implemented at a database level, still have to implement the user visible pages.
What is still pending:
-
Multi-tag support for the blog entries (the datastructure is already inplace)
- Sitemaps support.
- Trackback / Pingback / Linkback support (sending and receiving).
- last.fm intergration
- More complete comment and view information.
- Multi-language for the interfaces (EN, ES and NL pages)
- My customized version of the kaptchas idea.
- Being able to post with the performancer firefox add-on.
- Start some non-blog pages with some proyects I have in the works (my mailman-ldap syncronization scripts among others).
But the most important thing is, django is turning out the be a real pleasure to work with. And it certainly beats the pants of symfony in speed, ease of use and it's just plain fun to work with. And all of that with only a very minimum of magic!
