Spring of the bike

Today was the second day of "spring" weather since this years winter. The number of bikes these days seems to have risen quite a bit. I think that the combination of more and better cycle ways and the grand trans-santiago fiasco will really make this the spring of a much larger uptake of biking here in Santiago.

With that, It will maybe help bring down obesity; Get people more involved with their local environment; bring back some life into dying neighborhoods and reduce stress and violence.

Maybe Trans-Santiago does some good after all! (besides lining the pockets of few at the cost of the many... )
